Miss Burlesque Ireland 2018 is almost upon us!
We are so delighted to be hosting two amazing workshops on the day of the event, September 15th, if you don’t already have it in your diary!
2pm – 3.30pm
Perfect your Pin Up curls and beautify your brush out with Brush Out Bombshells
Join one half of The Brush Out Bombshells, Ruby Noir, for a vintage hair masterclass before watching her other half, DialEmma, take to the stage for the Miss Burlesque Ireland Grand Final that evening.
The class will cover basic wet set techniques and brushing your hair out in addition to updos and don’ts; as well as styling tips to ensure your vintage glamour is picture perfect for the evening ahead.
Come with your set in and brush out along with the class, bring your own tools and perfect your technique or come armed with questions to put all your vintage hair worries to bed.
Bombshells Workshop: €35 and include a goody bag and glass of prosecco.

5.00 – 6.30 Miss Burlesque Ireland competition preparation with A’dora Derriere
If you are interested in applying to compete in Miss Burlesque Ireland in 2019 then this workshop is for you! A’dora Derriere is the current Executive Producer of the Miss Burlesque competition worldwide and is in Ireland for the first time to judge MBI 2018.
A’dora is ready to answer all your questions about the new format of the competition and give you tips on how to create your best act based around the traditional and unique sections criteria and rules.
This workshop will also cover advice about what the judges are looking for, timeline creation in the production of your acts and getting the most out of the competition.
What to bring/ wear – this class will be largely discussion based, so bring your notebook and pen.
Level of experience – first-time MBI hopefuls through to seasoned professionals welcome.
